The item below will apparently be $34.99 during these dates. Two v4s with 6 months of cloud (based on the reviews, it is a free trial of cam plus for 2 cams, so probably can’t be used along with an existing subscription). But even without the free trial, best price to date on these cams.
Assuming they make the deal available online, non-members usually just have to pay 5% extra, shipping is free. Looks like they probably drop ship directly from Wyze since they don’t offer expedited shipping options like they do on stuff that ships from Costco. However will have to wait 'til the sale starts to see if non-members can get this price, or if it is in store only etc.
It may be an online only thing, which is good news for non-members as usually those deals can be bought with just the 5% surcharge which is still a great deal. I don’t know if this is carried in warehouse or not, but since it doesn’t give the instacart option, I’m guessing probably not (though I’ve seen that before on stuff that did end up being in the store).
I bought the two V4 cam special from Costco but I don’t see a way to activate the 6 month free cam + recording. I do see the 30 day free trial that Wyze offers on a new cam.
Has anyone found a way to activate the 6 months free of cam+?
Did it come with a card or anything? I believe usually the cams that include a trial (including when you order from wyze and check off the box) they are pre-activated for it, maybe the 30 days is just an app glitch and it will show 6 months once activated.
I think the standard is 14 days? So it does seem the cameras know they are “special”.
I contacted Wyze and they are looking into the issue.
I did not receive anything in the box to indicate I needed to add a code for the 6 month trial to activate.
Costco could not help, they gave me a contact number for Wyze.
Same thing happened to me. They said just wait and check your app periodically to see if they solved the issue. I read other people have this issue on costco reviews. Very disappointed. I’ll wait a few days more. If not resolved then they will be returned.
I ordered and received as well from the moment the deal went live. Have not opened mine yet, but also heard others that bought the deal complaining about the missing 6 months of Cam Plus. I’m not sure if they came from Wyze directly as the shipper was Western Post in Ontario CA. Maybe a holding warehouse either for Costco or Wyze? I can’t remember where past Wyze orders from their website have shipped from…
Costco added a 2 pack of Panv3s with the 6 months cloud for $30 but it sold out pretty quickly. Don’t think they’ve ever been that cheap before. I suspect we can expect a v4 of that one soon.
