Continuous time lapse

Is there a way to set up continuous timelapse? My intention was to get a couple of wyze cams for tracking weather out the window and some plants Im growing. It would be nice to be able to just set it to record for a year but apparently, 1 month is the longest video you can make, you can’t access the video until the recording period is complete and if the power is interrupted it will lose everything. I was hoping there might be an easy way to make it auto start a new time-lapse every Sunday or even every night? Im a little concerned about stitching them together later being a pain but I tried doing a month long time-lapse and lost everything after 2 weeks when I bumped the setup. Hoping the devs improve this functionality soon.
