This behavior had puzzled me. I swapped the SD card with a good working cam v3. The good camera continued to function as expected. The other camera continues to exhibit the problem. This issue is reproducible.
I also did a factory reset and setup as a new camera. Still has the issue.
Is this just a camera gone bad? Because it is not the SD card.
Is this a v3 camera that has this issue? And the only thing bad that happens is that when the night vision is enabled, the SD card stops recording? Are you using the IR lights also when the night vision is enabled? When in night vision mode, and IR lights are on, can you connect to the camera? Live stream etc? How are you powering the camera? What power cable and power brick(what is its output rating)? What actual firmware version is on the camera?

SD card stops recording? It stops recording. If I try to access playback while night vision is on, I get message “MicroSD Card Not Found”.

When in night vision mode, and IR lights are on, can you connect to the camera?

How are you powering the camera? What power cable and power brick(what is its output rating)? Using the Wyze power cable that came with the camera. Flat, white.
I’ll have to check the power adapter. 1000mA … also tried 2100mA adapter. No difference.
What actual firmware version is on the camera? 4.36.11.7095

Trying to narrow down if the problem is:
- camera doesn’t allow access to SD card recordings when in night vision mode, but is still recording.
Or - camera doesn’t record when I’m night vision mode and its reproducible.

The camera stops recording when night vision is turned on. It starts recording as soon as night vision is turned off.

Do you have an extended USB cord or the original length cord?
Can you post a screenshot of your timeline showing the starting and stopping of the continuous recording?
Since this is a user to user forum, I recommend contacting the official support and seeing if they have any ideas, and at the minimum request a app log or device log from you to be forwarded off to the developers and engineers for investigation.
