Can I connect a new outdoor cam WVOD1 to my iPhone app using my Verizon MiFi. Do I need a router or can I connect the camera directly to my iPhone app using the MiFI connection?
That camera The WCO version 1 cam will not connect directly to Wifi, It will only connect to the base station. The base station has to be set up via ethernet plugged into the router but then the base itself can be connected to Wifi (sometimes if it feels like it which isn’t often).

You could set up the camera at home and then put it in travel mode but trust me it is a big pain in the X but it does work.
