I set up the Ultra for me and then shared it with my wife. We are 100lbs apart. The Ultra confused me for her on her second measurement. That was disappointing. This never happened on our WiThings scale and we were hoping for an improved device. We found how to delete erroneous measurements. in the app because that was screwing up her graphs. Anyone else seeing this happen? What if anything can be done to stop it?
This happened to us when we 1st set up. The issue was that I had my phone in my pocket when setting up my wife’s account. The scale had attached her weight to my account. First make sure all the incorrect weights are deleted. Then go to settings in the app and turn on “Update Account Weight”. Make sure the correct phone is the one connected to the scale by either having the phone more than 30’ away or by turning off Bluetooth. Then repeat with the other person’s phone. It should now be able to tell the two of you apart.
