My wife and I have profiles on the Ultra but, because our weights are within 5 pounds of each other, the software misallocates her weigh-ins to me 70-80% of the time even though some of the other readings (BMI) should make it EASY to correctly assign the reading.
It would be great if the software could be more like the Withings program which, when the weight is within 5 pounds of the latest one (regardless of who weighed themselves last), asks you WHICH person is on the scale (you use your foot to answer) and assigns the measurement that way (Withings software does NOT have as many secondary measurements as the Ultra so it has to ask).
Please make sure you vote for your Wish Item as one is not applied automatically.
Also: Although my wife and I are not within 5 lbs of each other, I have found if you don’t use the phone, step on the scale it will read yours and your wifes. Then when you open your app it provides a list of weights that were missed and who to assign it to. Wonder if you could do the same and then choose your wife or yourself when appropriate.
I’m not following. Are you asking me to do the weigh ins WITH the phone app open or with it closed? Just for clarification we NEVER have the app open as we leave phones outside the bedroom AND the reason I upgraded the scale (from the original Wyze scale) was because I would NOT have to have the app open with the new one.
As far as the app showing measurements that have NOT been assigned it has only happened twice since Nov 12, 2024 (and we have over 20 measurements a month. The scale just AUTOMATICALLY assumes all measurements are mine to the point that on the second (scale) screen it shows the delta between my wife’s measurement at 6:00 and mine at 9:00 as MY change during those 3 hours. So I end up having to manually edit both mine and her measurements. The Withings software just knew that within 5lbs, it needed to ask. Any time we were more than 5 different , it knew who to pick. If this software used a secondary measurement (body fat?) as a backup when within 5 (or really anytime) errors would be few and far between.
