Color Bulb Bluetooth backup for Internet Outage

Today there was a major Internet Outage in my neighborhood. Internet won’t be back for a few days. Meanwhile I can’t turn my dozens of color bulbs on/off with Bluetooth. This is absurd. I intentionally set up the “maintain previous state” on all my bulbs to avoid all-house lights-on after a power outage but now it’s playing against me. Wyze, really, no way of turning on/off color bulbs when Internet/wifi is out…?

The bulbs only use a Bluetooth connection when initially setting up the bulb to transfer the WiFi credentials from the phone\app to the bulb. After that, the bulb is 100% dependant on WiFi and Internet. Since the App connects to the Server which sends all commands to the bulb, without Internet, both the App and the Bulb can’t connect to the server.

This is one reason I do not have wi-fi bulbs in all my lights. It is also why I prefer switches or plugs over bulbs. Kasa plugs and switches work locally when the internet is out.
