Did anyone try this Google Chrome extension ?
Wondering if it’s safe to install and use a third party ext?
I would be careful installing and using that Chrome extension, because for sure that Chrome extension would ask you for your Wyze account username and password. I’m also skeptical with it because first it’s not developed by Wyze, secondly the developer’s web site does not provide any information and contacts: https://adviceforpc.com/
I doubt it does much, as it is only 13.3 KB. Also, if you click through to their website, they claim to offer a Wyze app for PC & Mac, but if your read further, you’ll find the instructions start with, “At first, download and install an android emulator such as Bluestacks in your pc”.
At best, this doesn’t appear to do anything you can’t already do with an Android emulator. At worst it harvests your login credentials.

This is NOT produced, endorsed or approved by Wyze. You would be disclosing your Wyze credentials to a third party with potentially nefarious motives. Your moderators strongly recommend AGAINST installing this extension.
As an alternative, if you have a fast enough computer, you can install the BlueStacks or Nox Android emulators and run the Wyze-produced app within that.
