Change for the sake of change without options to accept them

After the recent update to Android app, I need to decide if i should keep it. These changes have made the use of my security system cameras almost unusable. They removed the home screen look of having small thumbnails of each camera, and when you have 6 cameras, it was a quick view, almost all fit on the screen. In each thumbnail the name of the camera was easy to read with the font size, there was a button i could push to turn on or off the camera. At each push of the button, in less than a second the camera would turn on or off. At the top of the screen there were my rules and with yet another quick push of the rule, all cameras on or off. Now they have changed the screen insisting that each camera on my phone screen MUST open up in live view before anything can be done. In almost every instance it’s almost a minute for that to happen. Meanwhile i can’t turn them on or off. And now since they removed the thumbnail, i can only see 1 1/2 camera live view at a time on my phone which requires me to scroll and scroll. And while i do this when driving, which is absolutely necessary, it’s dangerous. And since they removed the trigger for rules on this home page, i can’t even use them now. So bottom line is, the app has become almost unusable unless i’m sitting in the comfort of my home, and if i was, i wouldn’t need to use the cameras anyway. Such a terrible change and my dilemma is, do i throw away these cameras after 8 years of use because the app has become unusable?

That’s what I decided to do. Over 80 devices are being replaced on multiple properties. See my posts in other threads for the brands I’m buying.
