To test my theory that it is a flaw with new model Cam Pans I purchase one from Amazon to see if maybe I’d get an older model. The model I received exhibited the same behavior as the other two. On another Wyze forum post a user noted that cameras with a QR code that contains “F00” have the problem while apparently older cameras with a QR code containing “D00” work correctly. I confirmed this with my cameras. The earlier ones I was able to flash were “D00” while the newer ones are "F00 I’m pretty convinced this is a flaw in newer version cams and reported my findings to Wyze support. It should be pretty easy for them to replicate. Haven’t heard back yet but we’ll see what they do. Basically these cameras will not install any firmware from the SD card. It is not limited to the RTSP firmware.
