I have been a beta tester a long time. I had to get a new phone number.
I cannot access the proper place to change the old to new. Your website requires two way authentication. Cannot do this. This is a real dumb thing not to be able to change a phone number. Your call center tech support said it’s impossible. I was told to register under a different email and start over. I’m not doing that. I was denied the chance to sign up for free :12 person detection. You have failed us Wyze.
If you were able to change the 2FA phone number without passing the 2FA process, that would kind of defeat the purpose of 2FA. The time to change the phone number would have been while you still had access to it. But that may not have been possible. There is also a backup phone number option in the 2FA settings: https://support.wyzecam.com/hc/en-us/articles/360024402052-Two-Factor-Authentication. But I understand it’s too late to set that up now. Another option going forward is to use an authenticator app instead of SMS text. This would not be phone number dependent.
All that said, do you have a support ticket number so that we can try to get this escalated and resolved for you?

I don’t have a support ticket. When one changes a phone number there are contacts long forgotten such as Wyze. You should make it easier on the consumer.
