So I got the Sense kit when it came out a few weeks ago. I have it plugged into my v1 camera and hooked up the motion sensor near my front door so it would record on the cam when motion was detected.
I ended up getting too many notifications and removed the motion sensor. Since then I haven’t been able to get my camera to start doing event recording like it used to (based on detection area).
Is there something I’m missing?

Welcome to the Forums. If I understand you, you are trying to re-enable the built in motion sensing on your V1 cam?

Right. I enabled the Sense kit to try and use the motion detector and I was getting too many results. So I took the batteries out of the sensor. I wasn’t getting any recorded events so I deleted the motion sensor from my home screen and I’m still not getting any recorded events, even with the sensitivity turned way up.
when you put the motion sensor on the camera, did you turn off the camera’s own detection abilities?
Oh I see now. I was only looking at the screen with the detection zone and the sensitivity. Didn’t realize there was another area to turn it on. Be nice if it was in one place.
