Dear fellow Wyze doorbell user, I read the instruction for the installation and realize that it is advised to bypass the existing doorbell chime. From the wiring diagram, it seems to be equivalent to directly hooking two wires from transformer to the doorbell itself? Is that so?
My situation is that the existing doorbell chime was put in a very awkward location that I cannot easily access without ripping off some walls or wood panels, however, the transformer itself is very easily accessible. It would be ideal if I can do the wiring from the transformer side directly.
Thanks a lot.
