I have an electrtical panel that contains a red light that glows if my sump pump fails. Can I have a camera watching that light and send me a notification if it lights up? I have V1, V2 and V3 cameras. I would buy a new one if needed. I also have CamPlus.
Just trying to find out if this is possible. No good way to test since a motor failure is hard to test.

Maybe, but likely not reliably - unless it’s always completely dark except when the light comes on. However several people here are using Wyze water leak sensors to monitor level in their sump. Several documented success stories here.

The Wyze Beta app has a function called Smart Vision which allows you to train the cameras to detect new things. Haven’t used it but it seems to be part of Cam Protect.
Yeah, the 2 best ways to do this with a camera would be to either use the smart vision (still kind of a beta feature l, or to run the camera through an RTSP converter like tiny cam in server mode or docker Wyze bridge or Scrypted and have a docker that lets you do custom detections look for the red light.
Personally, those options aren’t as reliable as using a leak detector. Grab a leak detector and mount it or a probe just above the level of the sump pump trigger level. Then it can set off an alarm and notify you.
you might try detection zone that covers only red light area, then if false alarm occurs write to support in the comment to motion detection event, explain that you want your money back because detection zone does not work.
depending who responds, they may configure smart vision for you under cam plus plan
when i first bought cam plus, smart vision was showing in app but someone turned it off after few days.
i believe cam protect is per camera only, there is no cheap cam protect version like for cam plus
