We did some extensive remodeling to our house and now I can’t find one of my water leak sensors. It is reporting back a normal condition. Can anyone thing of a way to track its location?

Find a hose and flood the place? 
Just kidding.
I am not familiar with leak sensors.
Would moving the hub closer to it increase the signal visible enough to show an increase or decrease?
Hopefully someone will chime in with better clues.
I would not try to find it. Get another one, put it where it belongs, and delete the lost sensor from the app. Someday the lost sensor will be found,
