Cameras not working help

My cameras won’t connect to my network anymore . I tired to reset them but it’s not working at all. Any advice on how to fix this issue?

Too vague to even guess what the problem is. What camera, what changed, what error message?

Have you tried rebooting your router? If all the cams won’t connect, that would be the first place to look. If that doesn’t fix it, has your router been replaced or firmware updated recently?

Recently, I went with a different Internet company and the cameras worked for about a week , but now it keeps saying “cannot connect to the network” when trying reconnect the cameras with the new WIFI .

What ISP? Xfinity/Rogers/Charter? Is the router an XB7 model? If so, search the forum, it’s been extensively discussed.

If you know of a resource, it would be helpful if you provided it with your response.

For example, here’s a helpful post: Still cannot connect to my cameras when not on my home WIFI - #526 by carverofchoice

Maybe you know of a better resource to point @kbabula to rather than just search, since there are thousands of threads to dig through.

@kbabula please list the models of camera you are using - you tagged this v1 and v2. Is that accurate?

It’s called gonetspeed. I just don’t understand why it worked fine for few days and now I can’t connect any of my cameras. Is the 2 GIG not enough for these cameras? WYZE CAM v2

I am having same issues. My internet is working because my tv and iPads are working on WiFi but my camera keeps saying connection failed. I have tried rebooting it.

2 gig is plenty, assuming it has more than a few megs upload speed, which I’m assuming it does. Did you try the reboot of the ISP router?

I see you marked this as solved, can you share what the solution was?

Did your cameras ever work with this particular router?

One thing that is good to verify is that you don’t have the router set to WPA3 mode (an preferably not WPA2/3 transition mode as that can cause problems too). Most of the Wyze cams only support WPA2 (I believe a couple newer ones like the v4 and Battery Cam Pro may support WPA3, have not tried it, but most of them do not).
