Rogers are very strict and do not let you use your own modem. His only choice would be setting the modem into bridge mode and using his own router. His choices will be quite limited if he does not use his own router.
@rudylehner If you don’t have an extra router (or simply don’t want to buy one) then try to get Rogers to get the modem router replaced for you and specifically request for the Ignite Gen 3 modem router (XB8). Do not get the Ignite Gen 2 (XB7) because it has issues with Wyze cameras as noted below.
