This morning I noticed that ALL my cameras are showing the incorrect time ( 1 hour ahead) in the bottom right of the screen
Tried Sync Time, Camera Restart, and Power cycle camera - NO Change
I suspect it might be to do with up coming change to summer time ?
BUT thats not meant to happen to the 30th (23rd today)
Am in UK so the WYZE support call is not an option
May have to wait till the 30th to see if it fixes itself
I wonder if the Wyze app is aware of the UK time change schedule. It probably is observing the US schedule, which is on March 9th, not the 30th.
Have you also tried restarting your phone/device?
If that does not help, Wyze may just think you are in Germany
Phone is certainly on the correct UK time as expected
The problem only started on the 23rd I know because I have been keeping a close eye on the videos every day for last week or so and recording dates/times
And its rather annoying timing because I’m using the videos to document a staff time keeping issue - I’m mainly interested in the time interval between things, but videos being an hour out half thru the process in less than helpful
Whole of Europe changes on the 30th so not sure which timezone the cameras think they are on which changes on the 23rd ?
Looking at the forum I see the issue has come up number of times before with no real fix coming to light. Most of the cases just auto closed so I assume somehow it fixed itself for those cases
Hoping it sorts itself out on the 30th
Hi,
I’ve noticed my cameras are out of sync +1 hour.
Obviously I’ve tried the time sync function in the app. Also tried manually adjusting my mobile time but don’t make any difference (I believe the all takes the time from your mobile)
In the UK too, by look of mains sockets ?
Forgot my son also has a couple of cams, also in the UK
His are doing/did the same.
I updated the NTP server on my router (au.pool.ntp.org). You can view a list by region here: pool.ntp.org: the internet cluster of ntp servers
I also set my Android from manual to auto update time with manual timezone, so it did not rely on GPS / location lookup.
Then I clicked sync date/time in Wyze app.
When scrubbing left/right, there is no longer any inconsistency in timestamps versus what is being played.
Cheers!

Just noticed that the Wyze app is also showing the wrong day / date, not sure if thats new or just didn’t notice before
Its Saturday today but WYZE thinks its Friday
I got the same problem, I’m in Norway. This probably makes all recordings inadmissible as evidence.
That Day/Date mismatch is device specific - out of 4 android devices here - only one has the correct day name for the date
Same here in Australia @cbartley99
It’s now Fri 11 April here but my app says THURSDAY 11 April. Been like this for a while now. Tried everything I can find online with no fix.
Any fix on this please @wyze ?
What I forgot to to say in prev post saying only 1 out of 4 devices had the correct Day/Date combination
was that the ones that are wrong are older Android versions i.e. ver 9 and 2 on Ver 11
The only device which gets it right is a ver 14 device
I don’t know when this started being an issue as only had cause to look closely at events recently
How old is your device ?
We have 2 Android devices. Samsungs21 running 13 and GooglePixel8 running 14 - same issue on both devices
