Hello community, I have a problem with my Wyze cam V3 Pro. I wanted to check a scene in my film when I noticed that the camera wasn’t switched on, so when I checked it I found that the end of the adapter was burnt out, I was surprised and so I no longer had access to the camera. So I unplugged it and connected it to someone else’s adapter. The red light came on and I tried to press the setup button to reset it, but unfortunately it didn’t work; when I press the setup button I don’t hear any sound. But the red light is still on. What should I do, please ?
Camera is probably fried as well. You can pull the SD card and put it in a computer to view the files.
As far as the camera itself, make sure the adapter is rated for at least what the original was (probably 1000MA or 1500MA, not sure on the v3 Pro). If it is in range of your wifi, it should reconnect right up if it is still alive. If it is just a solid red light, probably dead, but you can also try holding the setup button for as long as 30 seconds to see if anything happens. I’d have the SD card removed when doing all of this
V3 Pro is 5V-2A.
The setup buttons can be tricky. I recommend a small blunt object to press the button instead of a finger.
