How to set time zone in Wyze app for v3 cam?
You donāt set the time zone in the app, you set it on your phone and the app should pull it from there. However, there is an outstanding bug for users in non standard time zones as well as outside North America.
Hi, Iām from Newfoundland as well and currently have the same issue. Playback is horrible cause every minute the timeline jumps back or ahead 30 minutes (timeline is 30 minutes off). Mine was good until the most recent app updates. Basically every minute the timeline playback jumps back 30 minutes then after 1 minute jumps forward 30 minutes.. Has anyone found a solution
The only work around I know of is to change your time zone to a āstandardā hourly zone, like Atlantic, sync your cams, and then set your phone back to the correct time zone. Then live with the fact your cams are on Atlantic time and youāre not. Itās a pain in the ass. I have different cams to replace the Wyze ones but havenāt set them up yet.
I was having the same problem (also located in Newfoundland). I resynced my cameras to ADT and now everything works just fine again.
Did you ever find a solution or were you given a solution?
The update last year really seemed to screw this up and they didnāt account for NfLd time zone, itās made the products Iāve already bought nearly useless. Reviewing playback is impossible.
This didnāt work for me, were you able to review video? Whenever I do it, it just jumps around , no I see itās jumping around by 30 minutes and finally put together the issue.
Yes, after I synced my time zone to a āstandardā one (I used Atlantic), everything worked normal again; playback works again.
