Camera motion detection off/on through rules

i was trying to create a rule to schedule when to turn on motion detection on the camera at a specific time and turn off at a specific time. so that during those times I have a light trigger on when motion is detected. unfortunately I can’t figure out the settings in camera for this operation to work correctly. if I turn on event recording, then motion detection never turns off, but if I leave event recording off, it never turns on through rules. I know I can set it up through the camera, but I want to have 2 different time cycles, morning then evening.
