Love the camera grouping feature! However, once you group your cameras you cannot view them individually through the home tab. To do so, you must go into the group and then separate the camera you want to view individually which is an extra step we shouldn’t have to take. After grouping, the individual camera should still be selectable from the home tab in addition to the group.

The new feature allows you to create a
Camera Group
A contact Sensor Group
A Motion sensor group
What it does not allow is to create a
Backyard Group
Home Group
Garage Group
Office Group
etc
Where I can tell it which of ALL my sensors (and future Wyze products like doorbell and light bulb) are in which group. Why was the grouping limited to sensor type?

Also if you use a camera in a group it is locked into that group.
You should be able to put a camera into multiple groups… I have a camera that I would like to have in others groups also.

How come while viewing multiple cameras in a group the quality is worse? It’s not SD bad, but its noticeably worse than just viewing one camera.
It’s not noticeably worse to my eyes, but it is worse. The frame for each picture drops to 1/4 of the screen, so to preserve bandwidth on low networks they drop the resolution in the 4-grid multiple camera view by 66% to 360p.

I wish there was an option to set it to 720p. I guess I’m used to it though, I always view my cameras in a group because they’re on all entrances so I like to keep an eye on them.
What’s weird to me here is you can see any reduction in resolution. Yes, the time stamp is more noticeable, but when you think about it, reducing to a quarter of the screen is actually a reduction of 50%. 360 vs 1080 is a reduction of 66%. So yes, it is slightly less resolution for the equivalent screen size, but amazed you can see that!
