All my Cam v3 have failed to playback past events recorded on SD card, even when the time line shows an event has been recorded. See attached screenshot. All cams’ firmware are up to date. Please advise.
All my cameras record continuous 24/7. I checked my V3 cams this morning and the green progress line on all six of them stopped showing progress at 6:45 AM even though they are all still recording to the SD cards and playing back the recordings from all times after 6:45 AM.
Sliding the timeline back and forth doesn’t make any difference or make the green progress bar appear?
The timeline on my V4 and V3 Pro cams are all solid green.
THE TIMES ON THE SD PLAYBACK ARE ALL ONE HOUR OFF (ONE HOUR BEHIND)
THIS WAS TAKEN AT 8:13 am
This V3 shows still recording:
Seems to happen every time daylight savings ends, have seen posts here the last couple time changes. Wonder if a synch time or reboot is what is needed?
Need to format the cards, already power cycled the cams.
My Panv3s, OGs, and v4 all have a gap from 1-3AM this morning (there is no 2AM shown in the timeline so it is a 1 hour gap), event icons show but no green line and can’t view any video. But everything from 3AM onward is working.
2-3AM not showing is expected, not sure why 1-2 (or 1-3 in the cam view) is missing. I suspect it is probably on the card and the app is confused.
I saw the same thing as Dave27 on my V4, V3 Pro, and OG-Tele. Could not tell on the V3 Pan as only one is currently powered and it has not been recording for a while (unrelated issue). My V3, V2, and original Pan all worked exactly right at the time change this morning. So it looks like the old UI got it right and the new UI is messed up.
I observed the same 2 hour break in all my cams.
I don’t see any issue unless I needed to review something between 1am - 2am (I don’t). Of course if I really needed it I could check the card on a pc but I’m to lazy (lost an hour of sleep, more coffee please).
Edit: just went through all cams in detail. p.s. v3, BCP, v3pro, doorbell v2 all show the 2 hour gap.
OG and OG-T are messed up. There is a 3 hour gap and the time line times don’t make sense (see screenshot below).
Hmmm. I don’t remember these issues last year.
That’s even weirder, when I checked this morning when posting that, my OG and OG-T had the same gap and were in synch. Now they show 4AM like yours and the recordings appear to be off by an hour.
However adding to the complexity is that I have a weekly automation to reboot them all at 3AM every sunday. Though since you’re seeing the same thing as me (unless you also have that automation) would appear that isn’t related.
Guess I’ll try a time synch and reboot and see if it clears it up.
Time synch and reboot didn’t change anything. Guess I may have to format if it doesn’t resolve on its own. Strange that the left of the timeline is wrong but the highlighted part (and the video) are correct.
Clearing app cache both in the app and on the phone didn’t fix it either.
Interesting. I reboot all my cams every morning at 1:02am.
My OCD does not like that.
Wyze did something in the last 12 hrs or so. My OG and OG-T automagically corrected. I am seeing the proper time.
Yea😊
I was sort of guessing it might correct at midnight when the day rolled over, but forgot to check this morning.
I reboot all of mine every night too, but not at the same time. All the odd number cameras reboot at 01:nn where nn is the camera number, and the even number cameras reboot at 02:nn where nn is the camera number.
Good system. Years ago I started NOT using on the hour (:00).
Its miniscule in the big picture but I imagine a large number of devs and sysadmins saying “I’ll do this in the middle of the night, no one will be on the net (1:00am etc)”.
Probably overkill but I feel better.
Reminds me of the days of bidding $xx.02 on ebay. Then everyone thought of that so everyone came up with their magic number they thought would win.
my cam pan v3 also not up to par when showing that I have an alert and when I look, nothing there? Takes me too long for me to go thru playback every time.

I’ve had the same issue for years, ever since I first started using Wyze cams. Viewing video recorded on SD cards is extremely frustrating.
