Cam v3 no longer working and won't flash firmware

Three of my Cam v3 cameras have stopped functioning. From the android and web apps, the devices are shown as “Device Offline”. The cameras have a constant red led status light showing.

Power cycling the devices does not clear the problem.

I’ve tried flashing the firmware on one of the cameras without any success. The online directions for flashing the firmware state that the status led should show as purple. My device’s led shows as red, occasionally turning off briefly, then went persistently dark.

Any suggestions on how to fix this issue would be appreciated.

If three of your cameras are offline are your sure your wifi 2.4GHz network is working?
Do you have other cams that are working?
Did you try a factory reset and set up the cam again. You don’t have to delete from the app just go through the setup again and name the cam as it originally was set up as.

Agreed, having that happen to all 3 cams is suspiciously likely a local problem of some kind.

I would also try the Factory reset.

Yes, I have other Wyze cameras that continue to operate correctly so I didn’t believe I have a WiFi issue.

I just spent time with Wyze support and their diagnosis approach was pretty much to hold the setup button for 30-40 seconds hoping that the status led would start flashing. It never did, just stayed red, then they told me that my devices were outside the warrant period and that there was nothing they could do for me.
