Cam Plus doesn’t detect “person” when “upload short video” from a rule is triggered from a sensor. Event recording is set “motion” & Smart Det is set “Person” and Detection Settings sensitivity set at “1”
Cam plus doesn’t apply to smart videos like when the rule action “upload a short video” runs. The event trigger is the rule action running, not motion being detected by the camera itself.

When those Smart Automation rules trigger an upload, it should show up in the Event List as a “Automation” or “Smart” tagged video. It doesn’t go thru any AI engine on the servers. And, unlike your CamPlus full length video, these are a flat 12s video.
