For the past few weeks I am getting hours of 3 second Events. [3 sec. events] There will be a few hours of normal 12+ second events, but then several hours of only 3 second events. It appears Wyze is having a problem. My OG’s camera firmware is current. The 3 second problem is not a browser is…

Not sure of the difference between “Live Stream” vs “Web View”? Live Stream is using the Wyze app on a smart phone, and Web View when using a browser? When using the Wyze app on a smart phone, and viewing the live stream real time, all the Events during this time will be the correct 12 seconds or …

[image] bangaroo: Live Stream is using the Wyze app on a smart phone, and Web View when using a browser? Yes, that’s exactly what I mean. Thank you for asking. I could’ve been more clear. :+1:

I don’t think it needs changing. What I am trying to explain is, if you only use the App all the Events will be 12 seconds or longer. No problems. Somehow, when the browser is IN USE, the browser interface is causing the Events to be cut short at 3 seconds.

I am having the same issue, support sent me a new OG camera and it does the same thing, I have figured out from this thread that it only records a 3 second event if I have the browser open viewing the cameras, if I log out of the website the event recordings go back to normal.

The fact that Support sent you a new OG shows they are clueless and incompetent. They know a new camera does not fix the problem. During my month long + interaction with Support, they told me to buy a new OG, which I did. I then documented that the new camera did not fix the problem. Support has …

Yea my OG is only recording 3 sec videos as well. I always have webview open and this just started happening a few days ago. Also why can’t I save videos from my webview to my computer? I hate using my phone to save videos.

As soon as I uncheck my OG on webview and just look at the other camera, it resumes recording 12 sec pus videos. No need to logout of webview.

How has this STILL not been fixed? This is absurd at this point. I replaced my camera, even though I knew that wouldn’t fix it, because I needed a second camera anyway. And what do you know? It didn’t fix it. Please fix your stupid back end. I would like to be able to use the camera for the purpose…
