I don’t think this would help in your situation, because Cam OG doesn’t officially support firmware flashing from microSD, as far as I’m aware.
My understanding with several recent firmware updates is that they’re gradual roll-outs, so the timing you’re describing seems like it might fit with that. Like I indicated before, if I was in your situation I’d be inclined to post in the announcement topic for that firmware to describe your issue and drop a link to this topic.
