Cam Plus Activation - How long can I wait to activate?

Just purchased a Cam 3 with Cam Plus for 1 year. It looks like it will be a month or 2 before I can install and set up the Cam 3. The package I purchased included Cam Plus for 1 year but obviously I don’t want to activate it until I’ve installed it. Does anyone know if there any kind of limit to when I have to activate it?

Normally, the license expires a year from the day it was purchased, not when it was assigned. For example a license purchased today (February 3, 2021) would expire in one year on the same day (February 3, 2022) even if it was not assigned to a camera.
There may have been exceptions for some promotions in the past, but I don’t think it applies for this.
You can go to services.Wyze.com and login with your Wyze account information(same as app) to see if the license is available to purchase use.

With the delivery of the Cam 3 I received an email with a code for activation of Cam Plus. It does not show up in my account as you describe above. I guess I’ll use the code when I’m ready to activate and see what happens.

Did you get the activation code in the “Your order has arrived!” e-mail or was it a separate e-mail? I just received my V3 with 1 year of CamPlus but I do not have the activation code. I am not sure how to activate the 1 year Cam Plus.

You should check services.Wyze.com (login with Wyze account) and see if it’s there. If not, You may want to contact Wyze Customer Support about this issue!
