Mounting instructions for the Cam Pan v3/bracket mention a need for 150mm clearance above the bracket if mounting upside-down. Is this for heat dissipation?
I would speculate that it is because of the order of the steps they listed to mount it.
Their steps has the mounting bracket being attached to the wall first, then the cam being attached to the bracket. That requires some clearance to get the binding screw thru the bracket and then into the cam.
Mounting it in the order Wyze lists, even with a 90° or a stubby screwdriver, it’s going to need clearance.
