Before, the cam was able to have Detection Zone on, and Track Motion enabled.
Track motion and detection zone work great together. I want my camera to track whatever enters the detection zone until said thing leaves the view of the camera. It used to work this way until a firmware update messed it up.
I don’t know if such a bug popped up, Same camera firmware version. Not that it hasn’t.
I have detection zones on mine and I have track motion on without any issues I’m aware of.
If you open your pan cam v3 and click the gear those settings underneath slide left to right as you probably know. Is track motion toggled on.
They no longer allow both “Track Motion” and detection zone to be set at the same time. As a workaround, set waypoint #1 where your detection zone used to point.
Must be why mine work, they all have waypoints.
