Bulb camSensitivity

I recently added a couple bulb cams to my Wyze environment. It appears the sensitivity scale has no effect on what triggers an event. I’ve tried both ends of the scale and still trigger 60-70 events nightly - mostly bugs and butterflies. Is there something I’m missing?

From my experience with my regular cams, light (whether regular or IR) will attract bugs and when they’re that close to the camera, there is no way to turn the sensitivity down enough, too many pixels are changing. Even if you could turn it down to like -50, then you’d miss important stuff.

Thanks for chiming in. I kind of expected the camera sensitivity adjustment in the detection setting do a better job of filtering that out.

I had a similar issue with bees when using the bulb camera. We live in an area where they are very active due to the flowering ornamental crab apple trees and other flowers in our flower beds. I need to figure out a way to keep them from going up into the light housing areas.
