Bulb cam suddenly will not connect to network

I have had a Bulb Cam since last October - set up was under 5 minutes and it has worked flawlessly since. At some point a few days ago, the camera was offline. I could click “online” in the app and it would come up on my phone, but it would not record or create an event. As soon as I closed out of the app, the camera was offline again. I spent 30+ minutes with tech support and 3-4 hours on my own trying everything I found online. I deleted the original instance of the bulb and tried to add back. Created a “guest” network for the 2.4 band. I turned my phone on airplane mode with WIFI on. Literally everything! Nothing worked. It finds the Wyze cloud immediately but when trying to connect, it will not. Wyze’s solution is send a new camera. I hadn’t changed one single thing to cause it to stop connecting. All of the suggestions about WPA, etc - my setting were already like that. I am at my wit’s end! Any ideas???

Sounds like the wifi chip or other electronics in the cam may have started to go bad, so the replacement sounds like the best option.

Only other suggestion would be to make sure there are no power issues in the light fixture, (low voltage or something) but that seems unlikely and would probably need an electrician to test properly.

Thank you! On a hunch, I took the SD card out and now it seems to be working. It is creating events. The light on the front is red but it’s doing what it should (besides using the SD card). I’m going to replace it, just to be sure.
