I recently bought the smart home starter pack after owning one of the Pan cams for a few months without any issues. While attempting to install the the bridge for the motion sensor, the app stated the firmware for the pan cam needed to be updated. After updating the firmware on the camera. I attempted to install the motion sensor again and the app stated during the installation process that it needed to update the firmware for the bridge which resulted in a message stating “failed to update firmware”. I attempted this process multiple times with each process ending with the “failed to update firmware” message. I decided after reading some of the treads to factory reset the camera, reconnect the camera, and then attempt to reload the bridge an motion sensor. Now, when I plug the bridge into the back of the pan cam, the blue light comes on for 3 seconds and goes off. Has anyone recovered from this issue?
