I passed these logs up to the team and was told we have found the root cause and the fix will be coming soon.

Attempted the same thing as previous posters, using a samsung Note 20 Ultra, no luck with attempting to connect 2 switches, wiring is correct, attempted all types of resets, and unfortunately this is not an iphonr friendly home, so logging into an iphone for the adding process for us isnt a reality. Thanks for the previous information everyone, atleast i know its nothing i can control
Like others I tried everything when my switch lost access to the āAdditional Controlsā. I deleted it and tried to add it back when I got the āBind errorā. I ended up using an iPhone to add it back to my account. My S21+ would not connect to the switch.
how do we submit logs if the devices we are trying to submit logs for arent connected to our accounts yet? The bind switch error is before they are attached to the account and i dont see an option for those logs.

Signed up for the beta, updated to new version. Does not provide binding error, But it just stays on connecting forever. Let it sit for 15 minutes and no connection.

Same issue, just installed 3 switches, none worked. Submitted log 1126748. On a Samsung Galaxy s23 ultra.
I can confirm that using an old cellphone works, used Samsung Galaxy S10+ and could install without issues.
Ditto. āBind Switch Errorā, Samsung S22. I could use a workaround that does not involve an Apple. I have a lot of Wyze products to setup, including 2 more switches. I was trying to keep all of my devices in one applicationā¦
You may be able to use an older android phone or tablet thatās NOT up to date on system software
Thank you for the note. My Samsung S22 phone is new, and up to date. This was not a problem for my previous installation last year with an older android device. I finally got my wifeās phone, an older phone, and it synced immediately. Too bad that put the switches on her account, not mine, so she gas to keep the new switches updated.
This must be an app issue.
You can simply log into your account via the old phoneā¦

Looks like there was an update for this in todays app release.
Iād suggest all to update to latest version and see if you are still getting the bind switch error

Still getting the error after using the app
It spends a long time trying to connect at all and I have to select the correct device, then fails after sitting forever. May try again tomorrow.
