Beware Wyze CHINESE Cameras

Careful!!!

…these Cameras are NOT RELIABLE for NATIONAL SECURITY!!

Also, lotsa “fanboys” on this site.

Possibly passing “sensitive” info to CHINA.

REPORTED to Homeland Security.

You need to lay off the whacky tobaccy :exploding_head:

Although Wyze cams are cheap junk, I doubt they are spying but you never know…

You should probably toss all your Wyze products and buy something else like … REOLINK brand cams :winking_face_with_tongue:

Since when are wyze cams being used for national security??? :joy: :joy: :joy:

And what non-Chinese cameras are you using?

None…that is the problem.

No, that’s your problem.

Look at Axis, Bosch or WTI…
All non-Chinese brands

Expect to pay MORE

That doesn’t mean the parts aren’t coming from China.

No National Security concern in my neighborhood. All of my cameras face the outside of my house.

Wait a minute, inform the NSA, only 4 out of 7 people checked their mailbox today near StevenA’’s house.

On the WTI all parts sourced are not from China, those get used in a lot of government contracts I’ve done.

All my cameras have been:

  • scanned for RFID
  • covered in tin foil
  • re-scanned for RFID
  • run through my home-made ‘Technology Patriot’ scanning device that removes the ability for any subversion to be present
  • my network traffic runs through my ‘Patriot Firewall’ that ensures only proper, nation-loving information gets through or goes out.
  • lastly, Freedom.

In Minnesota, it is against the law to point your camera at someone else’s door or window.

Your mileage may vary in your state.
