Best way to continous record with v3

is there a micro sd card extender to wifi or a wifi SD card that can record to say a wireless external hard drive? So all my v3s can record to one external hard drive?

I think Wyze will be coming out with a solution similar to what you want. The VP of Product indicated they are working on something that will allow us to record camera video to a local harddrive:

Is there any plan to integrate a microsd into the doorbell in order to local save camera footage?

Yes, but not in the way you’re thinking! I can’t really say much more, but I think you’ll be impressed. The hesitancy is that we aren’t crazy about adding an SD card within reach (the doorbell is always at arm-level, vs. a floodlight or other camera you can make difficult to access).

1) Does Wyze have any plans to revive something similar to MaxDrive? 2) Will a WiFi dashcam ever be considered?

Yes to #1!

For #2, we’re looking at how to stay connected at all times, which Wi-Fi isn’t suitable for while driving around in your car, so we’ll keep working on this problem.

So, they are working on some kind of way to do NAS (store video onto a network harddrive). We just don’t have any more details than that at this time. He also mentioned that they are trying to move toward having things be more local-oriented instead of cloud-dependent.
