Are there any plans to allow a longer time period than just 12s when recording to an SD card?
I understand that continous recording on the solar cams drains the battery, but a 12 second maximum time once motion is detected is a bit silly.
I don’t need a monthly plan.

You can do a search here and there are a few threads on it. I’m not sure if there has been a concrete answer on whether they’re going to allow extending that time or not.
I don’t believe a subscription would change that behavior, but not positive. If it does, it is a bug and not intentional as SD card is not affected by subscription.

It is just such a strange limitation for them to have chosen.
I can almost get away with continuous recording, but it definitely drains the battery way down and the solar panel struggles to keep up and charge the battery enough.
