Thanks for the feedback – the unit does not recognize the SD card so I can go to the area you mentioned (Settings > Micro SD Card and the toggle switch for “Record to MicroSD Card” is grayed out. It’s inactive and not available.

I have San Disk Ultra Micro SDXC UHS-1 – 128G. I purchased the same cards (at the same time) for the Wyze Cam Pan v4 and they work fine – no issues at all. The FW version on the Battery Cams is 1.4.5013; all of my Wyze Cams show to be “up to date” on the FM version.

Just a hunch, maybe try pushing in the SD cards a bit harder? If the cards aren’t fully seated, they can’t be detected.

FYI - You should never perform a set-up or factory reset with a card in the camera. It is a good way to corrupt the card and not be able to recover it even with a format.

I got new SD cards and installed them without doing the factory reset. The cards were recognized and everything is working correctly now. Apparently, you can corrupt an SD Card if it is installed AND you do a factory reset/setup. Thanks for the help/ideas!!

Two basic sdcard no no’s: Never remove sdcard without first doing a safe eject. Never install, reinstall, reset or factory reset with sdcard in the device. Good to know your issue has been resolved.

Would a full “Overwrite” format with SD Memory Card Formatter potentially restore the corrupt cards to usefulness? Seems like it might be worth trying as a background task in a PC.
