So I have 6 outdoor cameras, 2 base stations that ever so often just decide I shouldn’t have access. What really pisses me tf off is that Waze still has access. It’s only me that they decided shouldn’t have access. So to get access have come home & reset the base station then reconnect each camera (as in remove it take it to the bad station then do the whole ready to connect bs) before I can see anything… real “convenient” if ur away WHICH IS WTF I WAS TRYING TO BE BY GETTING THESE F-ING CAMERAS!!!
OK so I’m gonna try to ask, what do you mean that it’s only you that doesn’t have access? My intuition would tell me that you’re still getting event notifications but you can’t access them is that correct?
I have my Base Station plugged into a smart plug. If the cameras don’t load I just power cycle the base. Some of the cams come back up within one minute and the others with in 4-5 min.
What will happen is 1 base station goes offline takes the 3 cameras with it. When I reset just the base station the cameras will go to step 3 (loading video) & never pass that unless I re-pair them. If I leave them in that state they still record events but I’m not able to get a live picture, which is why I say I’m the only 1 without access. Left them like that for hours they will not load the video without re-paring.
I never had to re-pair a WCO that went off line. I just turn the power switch on the back off then on and they connect in a few seconds. I’ve done the same procedure for the last 4 years/2months and it has always worked.
what is their signal strength at their position from the base station? Do you happen to have the base station around a lot of electronics like your tv and a bunch of other digital stuff that might be putting out signals that are interfering?
