Hello, I set up a new Wyze OG Cam and do not have an SD card. I noticed that when I record the footage that it does save the footage to my phone. However, I don’t hear any audio when I play the video footage from my phone. I’ve gone through settings and enabled audio on both the app and my phone, so I don’t know what the glitch is? I’m assuming this cam does pick up audio?

In the Cam Settings, Advanced Settings, verify that you have Record Sound toggled on.

Hello! Thanks for the quick reply to my conundrum with the audio…the ‘record’ button is already toggled on…so still trying to figure out the initial question about audio not coming through…
How are you playing back the video clip? I would try using a video player called VLC to help make sure the audio codec is played correctly. Also make sure the different volume sliders are up on your phone for media and phone just in case for whatever reason the audio is being played back through either of those locations.
Thanks, that would make sense that it may be the video player I use. It is just the standard player that came with my android phone for when I take videos on the phone. It opens up the same player for the recorded Wyze videos after saving them on my phone in the phone gallery app. So perhaps the VLC would work if there is an App I can download.
