Auto recording without sound

So I’m having issues with one of my OG cams it’s auto recording without sound even though the mic is fine. The sound comes through when watching live feed and when pressing record and the footage is then downloaded to my device with sound in tact but not when auto recording to the cloud. I toggle the sound settings and, pressed reset, deleted and re-setup the device and it still persists.

What can you share about your settings? Specifically, do you have that Cam OG’s  Settings ➜ Advanced Settings ➜ Record Sound  toggled on?

Screenshots of your settings might help others provide feedback. As a new user, you’re generally limited to one image per post, but if you poke around in the Forum a bit (maybe searching for and reading posts similar to your issue), then you can quickly gain the permission necessary to post more than one image at a time.

Also, what kinds of audio are you trying to capture, and how have you tried to test this to replicate the problem?

Here’s a screenshot. I need vid with sound but I’m only getting vid and no sound and now with all the sound detentions have the following.

Failed load from cloud server. Try fetching and loading the event again. Error code 0-67891

I don’t know what that particular error code means, and I’m not aware of any sort of publicly-available comprehensive list of Wyze Cam/app error codes. What has Wyze Support said when you contacted them?

Does that mean you did a full factory reset at some point? I’d probably try that if you haven’t already.

If the issue persists, then I’d definitely intentionally replicate it, log it, and then open a ticket with Support and include the Log ID in the ticket.
