This morning (1/22/26) when I woke up I went to run an automation and it failed to run. Anybody else having trouble running automations?

I’m not seeing that. I just ran a quick Schedule Automation and triggered some Shortcuts to test, and they executed as expected.
I have seen at least one other user report problems so far today, and apparently Downdetector is showing a spike in problem reports. I’m not aware of any widespread outage, but it’s something that the volunteers are looking into.

I just tested again and things are working. I really didn’t do anything on my end.
