Any issues with Wyze Switch and Automations today?

All additional controls are not working since Feb 16 night. Attempted to do a full reset to not avail. Appears to be a service-side issue. Had to set single press to classic control as a workaround.

My trigger automations are not working. Trying to find out if there is something going on.

Same here. Also, not sure of it’s related, but my time-based automations didn’t kick in this morning.

I also just realized that the notifications still work, even though the automation does not.

So far my packet sniffer is showing proper traffic from devices to the Wyze cloud. However I do not see any data push from the Wyze cloud to the devices. All the switches are reporting to the cloud, My only workaround was to set the switches into classic mode, which means that I lost certain functionality for the moment (specially the Wyze bulbs). Will try and open a ticket. I recommend that any user affected to open a ticket.

At least some of my automatizations did worked, but had no Wyze Switch dependencies.

Same here, all switches have stopped working except in Classic Switch Mode and no Alexa Routines are working.

Another detail is that the status of the switches is not reflecting its real status. Had to force a status update on the app to see it. It works for a couple of minutes, and then is off of sync again.

I also have some types of automations working. But switch additional controls are kaput. Automation/triggers based on elapsed time are kaput. It appears to be a server outage. The issue has been reported to Wyze so they are aware and looking into it.

Sounds good, we need to wait a bit to see if the issue is solved. At least the classic control is working, but losing the 1-2-3-h functionality really hurts.

Having the same issue with all of my Wyze switches - controls for Wyze lights don’t work. It started last night and I’d hoped Wyze would have it fixed by this morning. Controlling the lights directly through the app or through Alexa still seems to work.

Having a problem with my Automations:

  1. v2 motion detector to turn on wyze bulbs.
  2. v1 motion to enable wyze switch

All are going through a wyze hub. Each item works perfectly on its own and can be controlled or monitored through the app. I’ve tried deleting/re-adding the devices, deleting/recreating the automation and still nothing happens. i’d say this all started this past weekend.

What’s going on?!!

Some type of server issue is ongoing that affects Switch additional controls and some types of automations/triggers. Wyze is aware of the issue.

Automation stopped running

I have an automation that’s been working for years and suddenly stopped today. Simple routine…detect motion, turn on lights. Motion sensor shows motion but doesn’t trigger lights. Tried a different sensor with same results. Seems like a possible backend problem. Any one else with issues?

Definitely a backend problem.
