VERSION 3.11.5.764 tyvm
Thanks for that additional information. I’ve moved your posts here to improve visibility to Wyze since this is the most recent announcement topic, even though this topic doesn’t specifically address the version you’re using (but several users in this topic are reporting the same issue, so it spans at least a couple of versions now), and I’ve also pinged someone at Wyze to get some attention on the issue.
Android Bulb Cam notification management
it’s a Samsung ZFold3 phone. Android 15. Most of the time, deleting notifications presents problems. Open app, tap EVENTS. Get a list. Tap pen icon at the urc, Select All, and each event gets a green check mark. Tap DELETE at the bottom of screen, and nothing happens. Rarely, but sometimes I get the deletions .. group of 20 or so like I expect but usually a dead tap. If I select a single notification, tap MORE/DELETE I can delete that one notification, …. one at a time. Sometimes bulk delete but rare, mostly one at a time. Comments etc appreciated in advance.
[Mod Note]: Your topic and associated replies were merged to this app Wyze News announcement topic for better visibility to Wyze.
What you’re describing seems to be about management and bulk deletion of cloud events from the Events tab within the Wyze app and not actually about notifications on the phone. Is that accurate? If so, then please share the exact version of the Wyze app that you’re currently using, as I think what you’re experiencing may be something that’s been discussed in a recent Wyze News app release announcement topic beginning here:
Please note that two different Android app versions are currently being discussed in that topic:
There does not yet appear to be an official release announcement for the latter, though it has been posted to the Release Notes & Firmware page.
If you can confirm what your issue is and what your app version is, then I’ll probably move your topic into that announcement for better visibility. Also, please note this:
If I understand your question ….Events tab within the Wyze app.
Wyze App v.3.11.5.764
So ….. what happens next … exactly? All my cameras’ firmware are up to date or so that is what shows (APP/ACCOUNT/FIRMWARE).
What happens next is that…
- I’ve moved your topic to this one to improve its visibility to Wyze, and
- Wyze will need to remediate this with a future app update because a number of users are reporting this issue in both the recent v3.11.0x and v3.11.5x app releases.
Oof. Another one without an announcement? Thank you for noting that here. ![]()
I pinged someone at Wyze about the v3.11.5x app earlier today. I didn’t realize they’d already pushed a “.6”. ![]()

As of this writing, I see the 3.11.6.1 iOS app noted on the Release Notes & Firmware page, but I don’t yet see any mention of the Android app release for today.
thank you for that Known1. Will check into that. I only wonder if App version and Firmware are the same thing. I don’t think so. thanks again
They’re not. For your current Android app version, you should see something like v3.11.5.764 (or possibly v3.11.6.765 if you’ve received that by now). Your Bulb Cam should show something like 21.1.6.1117. You should be able to find the app version on Android in at least 2 ways:
- From the Wyze app’s Home screen, tap Account ➜ About.
- From your Android device’s home screen, long-press the Wyze app launcher icon, then tap App info. The bottom of the App info screen should show the app version. You may need to swipe and tap to expand the Advanced section or something else in order to see the full contents of that screen.
You can also check your Bulb Cam’s firmware version in two different places:
- From the Wyze app’s Home screen, tap Account ➜ Firmware Update and find Bulb Cam in the list of devices.
- From Bulb Cam’s Live Stream screen, tap Settings ➜ Device Info. The Firmware Version line will display your device’s current version, and you can tap that line to see if an update is available and/or to manage the Automatic Update feature for that device.
Just updated Wyze APP from Playstore. Shows as v.3.11.6.765. Firmware Bulb Cam 21.1.6.1117 latest version. App update did NOT fix bulk delete of notifications.
Thank you for testing and providing an update here. ![]()
no fix, but thanks to Known1.
How is Live View, SD card Playback and viewing Cloud Event videos working on App 3.11.6.765 for you?
I updated to the new version and see absolutely no difference.
Live View ….. same as ever. Truth be told, haven’t figured out how to use SD card or ‘CLOUD’ events. There is one in the camera, but haven’t figured out how to utilize it. I don’t find any ‘guide’ for that …. or anything else, for that matter.
If not for Crease, I would have tossed this Bulb Cam in the lake a few weeks ago.
Yep - did all that as soon as I installed the update
So did I. No fix.
Don’t blame me, dude. You can still toss it any time you want. ![]()
I don't want to derail this topic too much, but I'll make a couple of points about cloud events vs. microSD recordings (so you can click to expand this if interested).
Cloud events are what you see listed in the “Recent Events” section of Bulb Cam’s Live Stream screen and/or on the Events tab in the app. If your Cam is attached to a Wyze subscription, then you can tap on these events (what I believe you’ve been referring to as “notifications”) to view the event videos that have been uploaded to Wyze’s servers (the “cloud”). If you’re using your Cam without a subscription, then these events just show snapshots/thumbnail images that you can tap to enlarge, and then the app will prompt you to subscribe if you try to “play” the event.
From one of these events, you could tap the SD Card control in the overlay menu (tap a blank area on the screen if you don’t see this menu) to jump to that point in the microSD card recording timeline and view video playback from the card.
You can also get to the microSD card playback timeline by tapping the SD Card icon in the “menu bar” below the live view pane while viewing Bulb Cam’s Live Stream screen.
You didn’t say whether you’re doing Continuous or Events Only recording with your microSD card. You would select between these options in Bulb Cam’s Settings ➜ MicroSD Card. I don’t know if you’re using a Wyze subscription or not, but I often find that doing continuous microSD recording allows me to see more context for an event when the cloud event is clipped short and doesn’t capture everything preceding or following a recorded cloud event.
I have just installed the latest update from Android Play Store
Version 3.11.6.765
Absolutely no difference - I can tap “Select All” - but cannot delete after selecting them.
I am STILL having to delete by manually selecting individual events before deleting them.
Why is Wyze releasing updates if they are not fixing the problem?
I am on App version 3.11.6.765. Live View, SD card Playback and viewing Cloud Event videos are working well for me.
So far App 3.11.6.765 has Not crashed on me when viewing Cloud videos.
