App & Firmware updates - Released 3/23/2026

Viewing cloud events and live streaming has been ok for me since the fix for the firmware bug was released along with the app update Wyze released at the same time.

I just got the new android app update to V3.11.6(765). So far so good.

Is the problem with bulk event deletions one could not mass delete over 20 recordings? I was only testing like 3 or 4 at a time (which seemed to work for me).

I can tap “Select All” and all the events are selected. Tapping on delete gives me the popup asking Cancel it Delete.

Tapping delete doesn’t delete anything so I have to select each event individually then when I have selected several then they may delete … Or they may not delete.

And that means when? I have the most current version and in addition to not allowing multiple select it allows you to select say 20 at a time hit delete confirm and it looks like it deleted but they come right back. Again it is not clear who releases a software version with little to no testing or at a minimum a way to roll back to the previous version. I am also guessing the focus was on Apple not Android which is why only half of the community is having issues. Please correct or most will go with another provider. I on the other hand will now refrain from pushing this product on my platforms. It might not matter in the long run but it is somewhat cathartic for me.

Your guess is as good as mine.

That’s up to Wyze developers, not any Forum volunteers.

Sometimes there are issues that affect iOS but not Android users, and sometimes there are app releases with issues that affect iPadOS but not iOS users. They’ve actively solicited iOS users here for their beta testing in the past, but I don’t think they’ve explicitly targeted iPadOS users, and I think failing to recognize the difference is a problem.

Events can’t be deleted all at once

Since 2 updates ago, all the recorded events can’t be deleted all at once and have to click it one by one to delete it. This is super annoying and wasting time, even new updates didn’t solve this problem.

[Mod Note]: Your topic was merged to this app Wyze News announcement topic for better visibility to Wyze.

Anyone on Wyze IOS App 3.11.6.1 have any positive or negative comments on this App?

Not me. WYZE is getting as bad as Google with their frequent Chrome/Maps/Gmail and Drive app. updates.

Works for me in all features I employ, which may not match other in-depth users. Deleting events (20) works w/o any returns, cameras (11) all load w/o stall. I have a busy house with numerous pets. The 11 outdoor cams get a routine workout. I frequently if not, turn off notifications or disarm when outside in order to cut down on the fluff. On the occasions I miss that I generally delete events and I will …at minimum twice a day …clear cache which can and will get pretty fat by days end.

Like I mention, I’m not an in-depth user. The cams and the recent updates to cams and app have fixed annoying sluggishness and reluctance to load the live cam. So, this is my entry. :+1:t2:

Don’t blame me

Blame??? That was PRAISE, Sir. Yes, indeed, the lake is still there … :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

This entire thread has turned into a train wreck. Bulb Cam user. Latest firmware, latest APP, latest everything. Many claim the same, mostly problems deleting notifications, but experiencing different problems. Point is, at this point, no one has a clue what to do. Same problems, seme solutions, different results What a total failure. It has become a source of entertainmen by now. There is no sign of a fix for any of these problems. Send the developers back to India.

I have updated too. No fix ….. except as of today, I was able to bulk delete about 20 notifications twice. Then, back to same problem. Select all (20 or so), attempt delete and a dead delete button. That’s approximately 40 I did not have to delete one at a time, … but it only worked twice.

Thanks for your info. I updated to App 3.11.6 (1) and Live View, SD Card Playback and Viewing Cloud videos are working well for me. I generally never delete more than 5 Cloud videos at a time and deleting 5 videos is working for me.

I don’t use Rules or Detection Zones.

Wyze engineers do a half a$$ed job, dont offfer support, do a horrible job of communicating and dont fix their problems. When i complained about no help, they blocked my number!

I’ll never upgrade firmware again.

I will update camera firmware and App versions but wait until I read positive comments on this forum. Case in point, 8 posts above I asked for input on IOS App 3.11.6.1 before I updated.

I really dont understand Wyze Application design teams thought process or logic

The Event feed has vertical scrolling (up and down) the Playback / SD card had the same (up and down)

WHY with the most recent update

would you change the Playback / SD to Horizontal scrolling (Left and right)

The amount of negative space at the bottom is insane.

What would happen if everybody starts doing the same

Disclaimer: I do the same thing except for the beta app releases as I can always roll back

If everybody did that how would we know if the update works?

Says everyone that collects a paycheck from WYZE.

Right? I see a few people on here that should be getting paid, but I’m just a disgruntled consumer!
