App & Firmware updates - Released 3/23/2026

Same issue

Yes, I have the exact same problem, very annoying! I submitted a log yesterday, not sure if anyone is looking into it.

I have the same issue. I can go into each video and delete manually but cannot bulk delete. Very time consuming on days when my lawn is mowed bybthe contractors.

I thought everything was fixed after Wyze released the new firmware and app to sort out the video streaming problem we have had for the past few weeks BUT…

Even though everything seemed ok I now find that the app has a problem

When I have had notifications for events, I usually go to the home screen and tap the events button which takes me to the events page.

Viewing each event on the list is not a problem but when I come to delete the list of events I find that after tapping the pencil icon and then tapping " select all" the events may all be selected or not selected at all.

If they are all selected and I tap the delete button, they may be deleted or they. may not be deleted. If they are not deleted then the delete button is greyed out and/or the “unselect” button is greyed out (or it might not be greyed out but it is not working)

If I tap the pencil icon I can select each event manually one at a time ( or sometimes I cannot select them all).

If I manually select them all they mostly can be deleted using the delete button … but not always.

All this is difficult to explain as the behaviour is variable

I am using the latest Android update and have done the usual force stopping the app and clearing the cache and restarting my phone.

Is anyone else having similar problems?

Hopefully one of the moderators will see this and inform Wyze.

I am having problems replying to anyone posting in this topic. When I click the reply button is only let’s me see my original post but not anyone’s answers and it seems to have duplicated my original post !!!

If you’d like Wyze to see your posts, you should be posting as a reply to the Wyze announcement topic associated to the version number of your app or firmware. “Latest” is ambiguous. If you reply here with your app and firmware version numbers we can find the Wyze announcement and merge your topic to the correct place for visibility to Wyze.

I am having trouble replying to answers - I’m not sure why but I seem to have done something when writing the first post in the topic.

I now have two versions of my original post - one shows just my post but the other version does any people’s answers as normal.

I’ll have to try sorting it but I’m not very good at using this forum

Your posts look fine to me. :+1:

What type of device are you using to view and post on this forum?

Google Pixel 9 pro with Android 16.

I think I was trying to do a quote from someone but obviously I did it wrong.

Hopefully it will be ok when this topic is finished and I can start from scratch for a future topic.

App is Version 3.11.0.758

Firmware is 4.36.16.6114

I merged your topic to this Wyze News topic for better visibility to Wyze.

The Android:3.11.0.758 release does not bulk delete events when the select all is used. The presentation also shows multiple no more events lines.

I assume it wasn’t designed to do that

Thanks Seapup - it would be beyond my skills!

(Hopefully I think I have managed to do a quotation.

Yes, I am getting those

Will this fix the problem with TinyCam Pro? BEFORE we purchAsed youyr product, we called to ask if we can play the camera view on a TV in our lobby. Since its not a computer monitor, we wanted to be sure before we purchased the TV and mounted it to the wall. YOUR TEAM suggested we use TinyCamPro. They told us TinyCamPro was developed by a Wyze engineer which is why we felt comfortable following that suggesiton. It worked great for 2 years, until we uploaded your last firmware update.

That firmware update stopped our ability to play the stream on our lobby tv causing safety issues due to not being able to monitor. We had to get a small monitor for the desk and now have a giant tv on the wall that is black.

We called fore help many times only to be yelled at and blamed by your team for using TinyCamPro even though YOUR STAFF suggested that setup.

Does this update solve that probelem? You really did us dirty with this whole set up and it damaged how we feel about your company and product. REALLY hoping you fixed this issue. If not, we will be traching your cameras and going with someone else

Since the recent software update, I’ve noticed a few changes that I’m hoping get resolved.

  1. When flipping between two cameras using the camera link (top right shortcut on the screen when viewing the camera) the sound turns off — that is not new. What is new is that I can’t then turn the sound on without exiting the camera view entirely and going back in. Kind of defeats the purpose of a shortcut if I have to exit the view and go back in if I want to have sound.
  2. Speaking of the camera link, we used to be able to zoom in (albeit marginally) when we had the preview open. This functionality seems to be removed. Why? If anything it would have been nicer to be able to zoom in more!
  3. General connectivity issues. Cameras always seem to need to be “reconnected”.

Definitely a bit disappointed. Hopefully these get resolved.

Welcome to the Forum, @mike.knauff!

What specific app version are you using? If you feel that these issues are a consequence of the app updates posted yesterday, then you’re probably more likely to attract eyes from Wyze if you replicate the issues, submit an app log, and then post to that announcement topic with your Log ID. As the Forum is primarily a user-to-user support community, and there is no guarantee that anyone from Wyze will see or reply to a given topic or post, visibility on an issue like this is likely to be better if you post to the Wyze News announcement topic that’s relevant to your particular app version.

If you think your problems are the result of this newest iOS app (linked above) and want your post moved to that announcement topic, then feel free to let me know and I’d be happy to do that for you.

Thank you for the feedback! I had no idea. I’ve submitted a couple of logs directly from my app to try and get these rectified.

To answer your other questions; I’m using App Version 3.11.0.6 and Firmware Version 1.0.98. Feel feee to move this thread to wherever you think would be best — I appreciate your support. I do think it is a direct result of the new App Version.

You’re welcome! Thank you for providing your app version information and permission to move the discussion. Hopefully it will receive better visibility from Wyze in this topic.

Identical behaviour… sometimes I can “select all”, then delete… and… they don’t. Or, I have to select each event manually for delete and… they do. The behaviour was oscillating back and forth, now it’s just stuck on the “select each event” to delete.
