The latest versions of Wyze on iOS 18.3.2 and Android 15 fail to arm and disarm home monitoring.
I tried logging out and back into the app, but that didn’t help.
I’m using iPhone 12 and Pixel 7 Pro.
Possibly app not compatible with older devices or OSes?
Another issue happened (one time) today: After the countdown sound began, we disarmed the monitoring with the keypad. This is something we do numerous times per day for many years now. Today, after about 1 minute after we disarmed, we received a call from Noonlight to check on us. This is unexpected. Any ideas?
Can you provide a bit more information here?
- Provide the App Version, Wyze updates App versions often and I would like to verify with what you have, if possible.
- Try going to Account, bottom right, then Clear Cache in App Settings. Restart your phone after you do this.
- Create a Log by going to Account the Wyze Support and submit a Log.
Note: Sometimes it is good to log out of the app (Make sure you know your password and 2FA info) and restart the phone. then log back in and see what happens.
I did a general test:
- iOS is 18.3.2 (Note: 18.4 is available which I will update to soon)
- Wyze iOS App Version: 3.4.0 (5)
Did the test from my phone:
- Armed HMS as Home : No Issues
- Disarmed from App: No Issue
- Armed again as away: No Issue
- Disamed from App: No Issue
I then did the same from my Keypad without issues.
Note: I am part of the Beta Group and am using the latest Beta app. I am going to update to 3.4.0.11 and try with that version as well.
EDIT: Just tested with 3.4.0.11
Did all tests listed above and found no issues with HMS. Everything was working from the Keypad and App.
