Anyone using Wyze Cam v1 on an Eero mesh network?

My v1 cameras have been down for months. Today, I decided to try to get them up and running again.

When everything I tried—including pausing 5 GHz WiFi to force 2.4—failed to make it happen, I got online with Wyze and had no better luck.

So, as it stands now, my v1 cameras are of no use to me.

Before I shell out for new Wyze or other cameras (I’m pinching pennies in retirement), I thought I’d ask if there’s some secret sauce that I’m missing.

I think the v1 cameras are no longer supported/uodated by wyze, so it’s possible they just can’t handle your eero system.

For what it’s worth, I have a lot of cams (v2, pan v1, outdoor v1, v3) that have no problems with my eero mesh.

This may be a longshot but there was an issue we had awhile back where the v1 would not reconnect after losing power. We had to send out a new firmware that had to be manually flashed. If you are not on firmware 3.9.4.35 I would try updating to that by manually flashing it. The file can be found at the link below under Wyze Cam v1 Firmware.

Oh and make sure ipv6 is turned off
