[Mod Edit]
Every time, someone will refer them to the Wyze security team. And Every Single Time, nothing happens.
Meanwhile I believe itās possible under some circumstances - I had bleed through from neighbors taking over my Bluetooth speakers in spurts. Surprising.

That brings back some teen memoriesā¦

Had a highly modified and highly amplified CB radio (back in the 70ās) ![]()
I could talk through my neighbors electronic keyboard, and guitar ampsā¦
I was a real AH as a kid

Whatās crazy to me is that Bluetooth was NOT supposed to be susceptible to this - because, unlike those keyboards and peopleās dental work and other analog receivers, all communications are both digital AND signed with session handshakes between paired devices.
But apparently not. ![]()
There still is an audio stage that is analog, so even a Bluetooth speaker could get interference in the analog stage with enough energy.

I hear people. I also hear things banging around.
The next time this happens, record it and post it here. Someone might have some insights.
Just had this happen to me. I did manage to record it, sent it to wise. Letās see what they say. I have a unique username and password just for their service
Voice (Appears Indian), speaking in another language, then asks āwhat are you watching on TVā. At that point I stopped recording to unplug the camera.
FWIW, I didnāt have 2FA, needless to say, itās on now.

Welcome to the forums!
How did you send it in? Did you contact support? And if so did they give you a ticket number? Can you post it here if you have one.
If you havenāt this way yet, I would plug the camera back in let it connect in the app then submit a log through the app and include the video if it lets you in the log submission. Now send an email to security@wyze.com saying what you did here in this thread and if you can include the date and time and your time zone in the email from when you heard the voices. If you donāt remember you can look at the cell phone video you talk and that should have a timestamp from when it was created. You can also include a link to this thread in the email.
Another thing you can do is as a precaution, if you havenāt already, is change your account password to a strong and unique password and thatās not used elsewhere.
Thanks in advance and hopefully they can get some answers to to you fairly quickly! I have also sent your information here on so that we can get lots of eyes on it.
At the very beginning of the video, the camera rotates a little. Did you do that or did it happen āon itās ownā. That would be good info to include in your report.
Soā¦i have personallytook a serious interest in this as i have a major problem withy neighbors so.eā¦as i live in tge passive aggressive capitol of the USAā¦some of this is peoples T.V.s blaring if youll notice its relatively quiet at the witching hours of the night (0200-0300) some will experience actual ppl talking so.e will experience no telling what kind of interuption or signal interference or just nackground noise in general⦠its not a credible source for anything thoughā¦but i have noticed mostly TVs
So glad I found this post right away. First let me say I love the camera. Yes, confirmed, itās possible to hear people threw your mic that are not in front of you. At first is was just a a duck like sound. I rearranged my room, and it came in clearer. I havenāt figured out how to tune it yet, no idea how itās picking up the conversation. The cam is in between the window closed down on, metal. Some reason the window is key. Also have a HDMI video transmitter, tin foil, screen power cord, HDMI cord for screen. Printer, 3 brother scan and cut machines, next to the window most stuff on table. I heard a few key words to believe itās people around me. Would like to figure it out, Iāll try and post back if I do. Not sure if something is amplifiey the mic, or picking up from something in the location itās coming from and bouncing it back.
I know this is an old thread but Iām hoping someone can help me understand this- because Iām actually hearing voices (people speaking) when I turn on the audio of my Wyze cam. This particular camera is at my folks place that I manage. Perhaps the oddest part about the this, is that itās in an area high off ground outside a vacant bedroom window. The neighbors donāt have outdoor seating that I know of either their house is generally in a very quiet neighborhood anyway. Besides those that want to crack the ghost jokes, is there some possibility that the camera is actually picking up interference from something? Sort of like the old cordless phones did back in the dayā¦? I recorded the visual/audio of it, but as a new user, it will not let me attach.
Itās picking up all sorts of frequencies. Learn more about what Bluetooth ACTUALLY is and means ā¦no, no, Iām serious everyone thinks and hears the same. Depending.on.what its bolted onto(metal, wood, etc) and depending on how many BT frequencies youāve latched on toā¦that is what your hearing, or someoneās t.v. is onā¦also if someone in the area has baby monitor// -radio/band
A wyze camera is one big bluetooth antennae.
So i live out in the country. I have quite a distance from my neighbors. And i hear people talking from my cam 3ās. I couldve sworn it was my dad talking. But it cant be cus hes dead. there is static but i swear i hearmpeople talking
I had my Wyze cameras hacked about a year ago, same thing. A bunch of creeps watching the streams for some unknown reason (hope they had fun watching me make Christmas decor).
Anyways, change your password and enable 2 factor authentication.
I told Wyze, they didnāt seem to care. The password I used for Wyze is unique to Wyze so my best guess is they got hacked but didnāt do anything about it or still donāt realize.
Either this fixed it for me.
Can u help me out. I donāt understand how the Hacking works.
