I was all excited to receive my two V3’s I preordered but when I opened the box today there was two Outdoor cams and not two V3’s 
Anyone else have that happen to them with their V3 preorder?

I’m assuming that you didn’t have any WOCs currently on order? And even so, how do you allocate the wrong cams? I thought the fulfillment process was completely different from in-stock current product fulfillment.

I did not have any WyzeCam Outdoors on order. At first I thought maybe I ordered the wrong thing lol. I went and checked my order and it said WyzeCam V3 as well as delivered today in the delivery tracking. I would have thought fulfillment would be different too but who knows. I was just curious if this happened to others or if I am an isolated case. I am sure Wyze will take care of it as they have been a great company to purchase from in the past. Just bummed as I was really looking forward to the new cams. They are such a big improvement over the V2’s as well as outdoor capable.

Wow! That is crazy. Since we were told they’re different fulfillment locations. On the bright side, they sent you something worth more. Could sell the 2 WCOs and buy 4 V3’s, or just buy 2 and you basically got them totally free. Still, contacting support is the simplest move. They might be able to expedite the fix so you don’t have to wait until January now.

Yeah I just read how others that pre-ordered v3’s had their shipment updated to January.

Serious question, I wonder if he could get near retail price selling them. The real world value of WCO has got to be hammered by the half price and superior in many ways V3.
I’m sure it partially depends on if it was the bundle with a base included or the add-on without a base. Still, I looked at ebay (I tell it to only show me the “Sold” ones), and just this week they have been selling for at least $45 brand new, some of them for upwards of $70 (I guess people don’t realize you can buy them directly for cheaper?). So, I would say YES.
I still like my WCO. It fits certain needs that a V3 can’t fit in, but for 90% of the time the V3 is better.

I am really embarrassed to admit this but I actually received V3’s. I originally saw the battery symbol on the outside of the package and just saw outdoor on the box for the cameras. I missed the part that said V3 indoor and outdoor camera. So I actually received the two V3’s that I ordered. Sorry for causing all the confusion.

LOL, Yeah as embarrassing as it was I did not want people to think Wyze goofed. I have been very happy with Wyze and all the products I have purchased from them.

I am glad you got what you ordered, My V3 shipment arrived after your post here. With your post in mind, when I saw those same markings on the outside of the box, I thought “Oh no! Don’t tell me they shipped me the wrong thing too!” I was happy to see all my V3s in the box when I opened it. 
I pre-ordered (2) v3’s and received them yesterday (12/3).
